CHICKPEA HEMP BURGERS

Serves 4

Ingredients

¼ cup TigerNut Flour
2 Tbsp. + 3 Tbsp. Nutiva Hemp Seeds, divided
1 tsp. flaxseed meal
14 oz. canned chickpeas, drained
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. Redmond Real Salt
½ tsp. cumin powder
¼ tsp. cumin seeds
¼ tsp. turmeric
¼ tsp. fennel
¼ tsp. sage
¼ tsp. rosemary
1/8 tsp. oregano
2 Tbsp. TigerNut Oil

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except 3 tablespoons of hemp seeds and TigerNut Oil. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
  2. Divide mixture into four patties and cover each patty with the remaining hemp seeds.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, heat oil.
  4. Fry patties until golden, about 3-½ minutes on each side.
